Parmigiano Reggiano

Pramigiano Reggiano is one of the most famous Italian raw cow milk cheese. It is firm and granular. The name is coming from the producing region which include the Provinces of Parma, Bologna, Modena and Mantova. According to Italian law and European certification, only the official regions are allowed to give the name "Parmigiano Reggiano" to the cheese they produce.
