The Balik Fillet Tsar Nikolaj No. 1 represents the perfect harmony of salmon, smoke and salt, has a full-bodied taste and a color ranging from dusky pink to medium red. The water used is also an important element in the preparation of the Balik Fillet Tsar Nikolaj No. 1. It is extremely pure, drawn from the Balik Farm's own sources and is particularly rich in minerals. The Balik salmon is gently refined using a premium salt and carefully smoked over logs that have been dried and stored for at least 10 years within the Farm's loft. The first smoking oven within the Balik Farm was built in 1978 by both the founder of the Farm and Israel Kaplan, the grandson of the last smoking expert of Tsar Nikolaj No.1. This oven has gone down in history as its design is based exactly on the architectural style of the smoking chambers found in the great Russia of times gone by. The Balik Farm smokehouse is built in such a way that each salmon fillet is equally exposed to the delicate and fine blue smoke. The composition and temperature of the smoke is also a secret, and the Balik Farm smoking experts are always passionately committed to doing their best for their product. Such a gem deserves beautiful packaging. Our Balik Fillet Tsar Nikolaj No. 1 comes in a luxurious presentation box and is only offered in limited quantities.
