Red quinoa real organic seeds - 500g

Quinoa belongs to the Chenopodiaceae family (beets and spinach) while being considered a cereal due to its composition and use. It is an annual plant that can reach a height of 2 m.. It gathers its seeds in the form of a panicle at the top of the plant. Each seed is covered in saponin which protects it from birds. The saponin is removed by rubbing and washing the seeds with plenty of water. Quinoa real is the variety chosen for consumption because it is the sweetest variety and the lowest in saponins. Its seeds are white in color and measure between 2 and 3 mm.
