COMFORT FOOD : Orange cake recipe by Jean-Francois Piege

Serves 6 persons


INGREDIENTS

  • 120g butter
  • 120g caster sugar
  • 120g flour
  • 2 organic eggs
  • 1 orange
  • 1/2 baking powder bag

METHOD 

  1. Peel the orange and sqeeze it to extract its juice. 
  2. Mix the soft butter with the sugar, add the eggs, the orange peels and the orange juice. 
  3. Add the baking powder + flour and mix.
  4. Butter a round cake mould, pour the mixture making sure it does not exceed 2 cm height.
  5. Place in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 mintues at 180 degrees.
  6. Unmold after cooking and enjoy at room temperature !
