Bluefin tuna in organic extra virgin olive oil PGI is the product consisting of a portion of steamed, hand-worked fish belly (Mediterranean bluefin tuna) placed in a special glass container, closed after filling with the preserving liquid. The product is stabilised by means of a thermal sterilisation treatment capable of irreversibly inactivating enzymes and micro-organisms that may alter the food.
