Sucre de Palme / Palm sugar - 200g
The sugar is extracted from palm flower blossoms that are cut open and shaken to collect the sap into natural containers made from bamboo stalks. It is boiled until the water evaporates and the sap is converted into sugar. This is a traditional process.
This unrefined sugar is rich in fructose. It doesn’t cause insulin secretion and thus prevents energy loss. Its wonderfully caramelized flavor is absolutely addictive. Palm sugar production does not involve widespread deforestation.
