"Greece, we have it in the veins". Just like the olive oil that we have been producing as a family for 8 generations in southern Greece, in the small village of Neochori-Ithomi, located in the region of Kalamata.
In 2010, the young generation decided to take over the olive grove to create Kalios, olive oil for chefs! After the first harvest, they travel around Paris on a scooter with samples. They knocked at the chefs door to let them taste their extra virgin olive oil and olives. In two months, they were selling 30 5-liter cans of olive oil, 12 2kg jars of Kalamata olives and 18 jars of olive meze: the bet has been successful, the Kalios adventure could then really begin.
