Ingredients for 4 portions
800 g | potatoes |
1 | vacherin Mont-d’Or d’env. 600 g in original box |
1 | aluminium sheet |
1 dl | apple juice or grape juice or white wine |
black pepper | |
dry thyme |
Method

Cook the potatoes without peeling them off.

Wrap the bottom of the vacherin in a double folded aluminium sheet.

Preheat the oven at 180 °C.Pour the 1dl liquid on top of it. Place the cheese in teh middle of the oven during 15minutes. As soon as the cheese is liquid, it is ready for eating.

Add one round of pepper with the peppermill and a few pinches of dry thyme.

As side dish, join the potatoes and why not adding some caramelized apples on the side.
