For 8 persons - Preparation time : about 10 minutes - Cooking time : 45 minutes
1 cup ¼ of wheat flour
1 cup of grated cheese
⅔ cup of halal dried turkey chorizo
1 red pepper
3 whole eggs
4,4 fl oz of milk
3,4 fl oz of sunflower oil
1 packet of baking powder
- salt, pepper
1- Preheat the oven at 356°F
2- Beat the whole eggs in a salad bowl
3- Add the wheat flour and the packet of baking powder, then stir.
4- Gradually add the sunflower oil and the warm milk while keeping stiring until you obtain a homogeneous and smooth dough.
5- Cut the halal turkey chorizo into small pieces.
6- Clean and cut the red pepper into two pieces. Remove the stem, the pips and the white skins and then slice it thinly into strips.
7- Add the grated cheese, the pieces of chorizo and the strips of red pepper in the preparation. Salt and pepper it to your liking and then stir well.
8- Butter and flour the cake tin, then pour the preparation.
9- Put the chorizo and red pepper cake in the oven for 45 minutes, and check the cooking with the point of a knife. It must come out clean and dry when the cake is ready.
10- Let the cake cool on an oven rack when you take it out of the oven and then unmold your precious cake in a nice serving dish.
11- Finally, enjoy your chorizo and red pepper cake warm or cold, with a seasonned green salad as a starter or dice-sliced as an apetizer !
