Terrific Halloween cookies Jack'O' Lanterns

INGREDIENTS FOR 6 PERSONS

  • 1 egg
  • 30g unsweetened cacao powder
  • half chocolate bar / 50g
  • a pinch of fleur de sel
  • 180g flour
  • 125g butter
  • 120g caster sugar
  • 100g white chocolate
  • pecan nuts

METHOD

1- In a bowl mix all the ingredients except the pecan nuts and the two chocolates. Form a homogeneous ball. Cut small pieces of dark chocolate and add them to the ball.

2- On a baking sheet, arrange 6 small balls of dough, flatten them with a tablespoon to give them a slightly oval shape.

3- Cut pecans in half and arrange half a pecan on each cookie, at the top, to shape a pumpkin tail.

4- Bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C.

5- Take out the still hot cookie sheet, then, being careful not to burn yourself, make small lines in the cookies with a cooking wire on top (be careful to stay on the surface).

6- Let cool completely.

7- Heat the white chocolate in a bain-marie, then place it in a piping bag, and form the faces of the pumpkins.

8- Add a small dot of dark chocolate in each eye and enjoy!
